By applying for and accepting accommodation at DAV Ladies Hostel, you agree to abide by the following terms and rules.
1. General Code of Conduct
- Residents must maintain a peaceful environment and respect the privacy and comfort of other residents.
- Ragging, bullying, or any form of harassment is strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate expulsion.
- Consumption of alcohol, smoking, and the use of illegal substances are strictly forbidden on the premises.
2. Timings and Outings
- Residents must adhere to the hostel curfew timings as set by the administration.
- Prior written permission (via the Warden Portal/App) from the warden and parents/guardians is mandatory for night outs or extended leaves.
- Late entries without valid approved reasons will be documented and reported to parents/guardians.
3. Rent and Payments
- Monthly rent must be paid on or before the 5th of every month. Late payments may attract a penalty fee.
- The security deposit is refundable only at the time of vacating the hostel, subject to clearance of all dues and no damages to hostel property.
- A minimum notice period of one month is required before vacating the hostel.
4. Property and Maintenance
- Residents are responsible for the safe upkeep of the furniture and fixtures provided in their rooms.
- Any damage to hostel property will be charged to the resident(s) responsible.
- Residents must ensure electrical appliances (lights, fans, A/C) are turned off when leaving the room to conserve energy.
The management reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. Continued stay in the hostel constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
